The loss of income due to illness or injury can cause serious financial hardship for your family. Disability insurance, provided through The Standard replaces a portion of your income to help you continue paying your bills and meeting your financial obligations during this difficult time.

Short-term disability
PGTI provides a benefit that pays you disability up to 13 weeks if you enroll
This is a Team Member-paid benefit
Long-term disability
Long-term coverage protects you from the financial impact of an extended disability.
Short-Term Disability
- Coverage must be elected if you want to enroll.
- Benefits begin on the fifteenth day of illness or injury.
- For hourly team members, benefits are paid at 60% of your weekly pre-disability earnings up to a maximum of $1,000 per week.
- For salary team members, benefits are paid at 60% of your weekly pre-disability earnings up to a maximum of $2,500 per week.
- Benefits end after 13 weeks.
Long-Term Disability
- Coverage must be elected if you want to enroll.
- Company pays 50% of the premium; you pay the other 50%, which allows you to receive your benefits partially tax-free.
- Benefits begin after 90 days of disability.
- Pays 60% of your base monthly earnings, up to a maximum of $12,500 per month.
- Benefits continue until Social Security Normal Retirement Age (SSNRA) or you are no longer disabled.
